About me
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience providing compassionate psychiatric care to adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. My clinical practice focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of mental health conditions, including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and substance use disorders, among others.
Prior to establishing my private practice in 2019, I served as a psychiatric provider at The Counseling Center at Middlesex, where I performed diagnostic psychiatric evaluations and provided ongoing medication management, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with Vivitrol® and Suboxone®, for patients enrolled in an intensive outpatient program treating co-occurring substance use and psychiatric disorders. I also served as a psychiatric provider at SohoMD, an outpatient psychiatry group practice in Manhattan, and at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey, where I worked as a registered nurse on an inpatient psychiatric unit.
My graduate clinical training encompassed diverse rotations across New York City and New Jersey in both outpatient and inpatient mental health settings. These experiences included an advanced practice internship at community behavioral health clinic, Care Plus New Jersey, clinical rotations at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, and work with community-based organizations such as the York Street Project. In addition, I served as a research intern at Princeton Medical Institute, where I helped support psychopharmacology clinical trials evaluating treatments for various conditions including treatment-resistant depression, nicotine dependence, and Alzheimer’s disease.
